These beliefs have come true over the past 23 years as we continue to grow with users in 48 states, Canada, Puerto Rico and beyond. Regulatory requirements dictate the need for quicker and more accurate reporting capabilities for the family owned pawn shops, which comprise over 65% of the total pawnshop market. Pawn Wizard was founded in 2002 under the principle of offering our clients real-world solutions to all of their business needs. We are not a large software design company that has lost sight of the little guy, instead, we are a team of software developers and support specialists who understand the pawn industry and want to make our clients’ businesses run more smoothly and more effectively.
We began with a very simple concept: Design an affordable, reliable, easy to use Windows© based pawn software program for the small to mid-size independent pawnshop owner. In every design decision we asked ourselves these questions: How would this look to the owner/manager of a family store? Would they understand it quickly? Would it make sense for the way they do business? We had the advantage of starting work on a new application from the ground up and the benefit of input from existing pawnshop owners who knew what they wanted the program to do. Since 2002 we have continually developed our products with an eye on the newest technology and operating systems.
